Handloom Product from Waste Cloth Material

At Anniebesant School, time has come to share one more achievement, Long overdue, commissioning and installation of the Hand loom machine has complete.
The Machine was bought from West Bengal, and is meant to create carpet, bedsheet, table top and other daily use item from the waste cloth material.

The collects a number of discarded clothing material, which now can be transformed into salable quality product, with this project, school also aim to provide skill training to the needy handicap people to make their own living. Vegetable Garden in School; 23 June 2013

The Anniebesant school has always been promoter of healthy and living in tune with the environment. Promoting the same, the empty plot / area in the school is utilized for growing vegetables and fruits. Many home grown veggies are there lady finger, brinjal, cauliflower, tomatoes, peas, banana, oranges, guava.

In addition to providing nutritional edible food items, it also gives the opportunity to teach the mentally retarded children how to garden, and take care or plants and other living things

A Musical Evening: 28 May 2000

A Musical Evening is organized in the memory of the founder Late Mr P. C, Dutta.
This being the second death anniversary, this musical evening saw the recitation from eminent singers presenting various Bhajans, Lok Sangeet, Classical Songs, and Ghazal songs.
